The EiKO HIDF 15-Watt LED Filament Lamp is a direct-fit retrofit solution for traditional 50W HID lamps, delivering dramatic energy savings without sacrificing the classic HID aesthetic. Available in two color temperatures — 2200K Super Warm White (SKU: 16336) & 5000K Daylight (SKU: 16337), with lumen outputs of 2,250/2,700 lumens and an efficacy of 150/180 LPW. This ED17 bulb features omni-directional light distribution that precisely matches the form, fit, and function of the HID lamps it replaces. With an 80 CRI and a rated life of 50,000 hours, it is an ideal long-term upgrade for a wide range of commercial and outdoor applications including post tops, coach lights, wall packs, high bays, parking lots, pathways, plaza and streetlight fixtures, and shoebox area lights.
Engineered for hassle-free installation, the HIDF uses a Type B ballast bypass design for direct 120–277V AC connection, eliminating the need for ballast compatibility concerns. It fits standard E26 medium base HID sockets for true retrofitting without fixture modifications, and supports universal mounting positions — base up, base down, or horizontal. The glass enclosure provides superior thermal management through natural convection, avoiding the degradation issues common with plastic housings, while its solid-state construction offers exceptional vibration resistance compared to fragile HID arc tubes. The lamp is enclosed fixture rated and carries an IP54 rating for dust and water ingress protection, making it suitable for damp and wet location use. A 2kV surge rating provides added protection against voltage transients in demanding electrical environments.
The HIDF operates across a temperature range of -22°F to 113°F (-30°C to 45°C), is RoHS compliant, and is UL/ETL listed.
