Fulham is still a solid source for fluorescent electronic ballast, as their SunHorse ballasts are in many fluorescent fixtures today. Their electronic ballasts for UV and Tanning provide a low-maintenance, energy-efficient solution for germicidal ultraviolet lighting applications, including water purification, air purification and surface disinfection. Some advantages of the Fulham SunHorse Ballasts are that they have a multi-lamp operation, they can run up to 6 lamps off of one ballast. SunHorse also has an extended lamp life that promotes lower maintenance costs and are compatible with a wide range of lamp types and configurations.
This item is the Fulham SunHorse UV and Tanning electronic ballast model: SHS14-UNV-H. Approved for lamp combination of 160W max, the input voltage is 120 and 277 volt. This ballast has a sound rating of "A", a class of "P", and is suitable for air handling spaces. This fluorescent ballast must be grounded and is considered a compact case with side leads, including two reds and one yellow on one side and one black and one white on the other side. The exact dimensions of this ballast are 10"L x 2.6"W x 1.26"H. This ballast is approved for 21-79W T5 425mA UV Lamps.
