LEDVANCE LEDlescent T5 High Efficiency Ballast-Free lamps are an energy saving alternative, designed to replace traditional fluorescent T5HE lamps by bypassing the existing ballast to operate directly on 120-277V. Reduced energy usage saves operational costs resulting in attractive payback time while providing an easy way to upgrade to LED technology. These LED T5HE lamps contain no mercury, provide instant light and a uniform light distribution. When installing the LEDlescent T5 lamps, the UL rating of the existing fixture is not voided (even when it is electrically modified) since our LEDlescent T5 lamp is UL Classified (as a luminaire conversion retrofit kit) under UL standard 1598C. UL 1598C is the standard covering LED retrofits intended for an existing UL rated fixture. Since the user is retrofitting with a UL1598C classified LED kit, the installer must follow the installation instructions included with the lamps for the modified fixture to retain its UL rating.*
The Sylvania 4 Foot 14 Watt Dimmable T5 Double Ended Ballast Bypass LED Tube Light is a high-efficiency lighting solution that delivers up to 145 lumens per watt with an 82 CRI for excellent color rendering. It produces between 2,000 and 2,100 lumens and is available in four color temperatures - 3000K Warm White, 3500K Bright White, 4000K Cool White, and 5000K Daylight - to suit a wide range of environments.
This tube features instant-on performance with no warm-up time, stable lamp-to-lamp color consistency, and no lamp polarity requirements, making installation straightforward. The frosted glass optics provide a 180° beam angle with a 320° light emitting angle, and the lamp produces no UV emissions. It operates directly on 120–277V and is dimmable for added flexibility.
Designed for versatility, this tube functions in operating temperatures ranging from -4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C) and is rated for both dry and damp locations, though it cannot come into direct contact with water. It is equivalent to a 28 Watt fluorescent lamp and is rated for 50,000 hours of life, backed by a 5-year warranty.
Dimmer Compatibility: 4 ft lamps are dimmable down to 10% with 120V phase cut dimmers. Lamps are tested and compatible with Lutron CTELV-303P and DVELV-303P dimmers.
