The Westgate RSL6-MCT5-FR is a 6-inch round LED fire-rated downlight engineered for both new construction and retrofit applications in residential and commercial settings. Featuring a smooth recessed trim with a spun aluminum housing and white powder coat finish, this fixture delivers a clean, modern aesthetic while meeting the demands of insulated ceiling installations — no pot light housing required.
At the heart of this downlight is a multi-CCT selectable driver (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K), adjustable via a switch on the back of the driver, giving installers the flexibility to match any lighting environment. The isolated driver design ensures improved thermal management and long-term reliability, contributing to a rated life of 50,000 hours. The fixture produces 840 lumens at 70 LPW efficacy and is dimmable down to 10% using a standard TRIAC LED dimmer.
The 0.125-inch white translucent acrylic lens delivers a wide 100°–110° beam angle with a CRI ≥ 80, providing excellent color rendering for general illumination. The trim can rotate after installation to align perfectly with your ceiling. The included junction box (1-inch thick) supports up to nine AWG18 wires, and the IC-rated housing is approved for direct contact with insulation. Rated for damp locations and suitable for indoor or covered outdoor use, the fixture operates across a wide ambient temperature range of -4°F to 104°F.
Dimensions are 1½" H × 7" D (5⅖" inner diameter), with a driver box measuring 4" × 2-5/8" × 3/8". The RSL6-MCT5-FR carries Energy Star, ETL, and IC certifications and is backed by a 5-year warranty. It is an ideal solution for closets, storage areas, attics, corridors, and general lighting in both residential and commercial spaces.
