The EiKO RDR6 Downlight Retrofit (Model RDR6-PS-9FCCT-D-WHB, Order Code 16500) is engineered to modernize 6" recessed fixtures without the hassle of a full housing replacement. Designed for both residential and commercial applications, it replaces legacy CFL, incandescent, and halogen downlights using a standard E26 Medium Base adapter -  making installation straightforward in most existing recessed housings.

What sets this retrofit apart is its dual field-adjustable design. The PowerSET dip switch lets you select from three wattage outputs — 7.9, 11.5, or 15 watts — delivering up to 1,325 lumens at peak output with an efficacy of up to 100 lm/W. The ColorSET dip switch independently controls color temperature across five settings: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K. Default factory settings are maximum power at 3000K CCT. CRI is 90+ throughout, and the 100° beam angle provides broad, smooth illumination through a white frosted PC lens with an integrated baffled trim reflector.

Electrically, the RDR6 operates on 120V input and dims to 10% with TRIAC and ELV dimmers, with built-in 2.5kV surge protection for added reliability. The injection-molded, non-conductive plastic housing is impact-resistant, noncorrosive, and meets most local dead-front code requirements. Torsion V-springs secure the unit in 6" openings. Rated for dry, damp, and wet environments with an operating range of -13°F to 104°F (-25°C to 40°C), it is suitable for a wide range of installation conditions.

The RDR6 carries Energy Star, Title 20, Title 24, sETLus, RoHS, and FCC certifications, and is rated for up to 35,000 hours of L70 life. It replaces incandescent and halogen sources up to 100 watts and is backed by a 5 year warranty. Compatible dimmers are listed in the specification sheet.
