The EiKO HIDF PowerSET LED Filament Lamp is a direct-fit retrofit solution for traditional 450W HID lamps, delivering dramatic energy savings without sacrificing the classic HID aesthetic. Featuring selectable 60/68/85-watt output, this ED37 bulb is available in two color temperatures: 4000K Cool White (SKU: 16329) with lumen outputs of 11,100 / 12,580 / 15,725 lumens and an efficacy of 185 LPW, and 5000K Daylight (SKU: 16330) with lumen outputs of 11,700 / 13,200 / 16,500 lumens and an efficacy of 195 LPW. Its omni-directional light distribution precisely matches the form, fit, and function of the HID lamps it replaces. With an 80 CRI and a rated life of 50,000 hours, it is an ideal long-term upgrade for a wide range of commercial and outdoor applications including post tops, coach lights, wall packs, high bays, parking lots, pathways, plaza and streetlight fixtures, and shoebox area lights.
Engineered for hassle-free installation, the HIDF uses a Type B ballast bypass design for direct 120–277V AC connection, eliminating the need for ballast compatibility concerns. It fits standard EX39 mogul base HID sockets for true retrofitting without fixture modifications, and supports universal mounting positions — base up, base down, or horizontal. The glass enclosure provides superior thermal management through natural convection, avoiding the degradation issues common with plastic housings, while its solid-state construction offers exceptional vibration resistance compared to fragile HID arc tubes. The lamp is enclosed fixture rated and carries an IP54 rating for dust and water ingress protection, making it suitable for damp and wet location use. A 4kV surge rating provides added protection against voltage transients in demanding electrical environments.
The HIDF operates across a temperature range of -22°F to 113°F (-30°C to 45°C), is RoHS compliant, and is UL/ETL listed and DLC Listed — qualifying it for utility rebate programs.
