American Lighting's Indoor/Outdoor Commercial Grade LED Christmas Lights Sets require a separate power connector to energize the first stringer set in your display. You are able to connect up to 125 light strings to a single power connector.

Commercial LED stringer lights are different from standard, residential grade products primarily because they utilize a 'coaxial connection' power system. The coaxial power connection system has a threaded connection on the female end of the stringer and the male end has the compression fitting, or cap, that threads on to the female end. There is an O-Ring that prevents water from entering the connection housing. This system also provides strain relief between stringers and ensures a moisture-proof connection that will not come undone. At a minimum, you will require (1) power connector (sold separately). This needs to be connected to the beginning of your stringer run to energize the LEDs. There are several additional accessories including spacer cables (to continue your run or to have a space with NO lights 12, 20 or 50 feet apart) and X, Y or 8-Way power taps. 

This is the American Lighting Commercial Coaxial Power Adapter. This is the power connector that is necessary to energize your LED stringer lights. Only one power adapter is necessary to power a continuous run of up to 125 stringers. This power adapter is 120 volt and is rated for a maximum load of 3 amps.
