The Halco EMG-WLEX Wet-Location Exit Sign Series is engineered for demanding environments where standard exit signs fall short. Built with a fully gasketed polycarbonate lens and 5VA thermoplastic housing, this UL 924 wet and cold location listed fixture delivers reliable, code-compliant egress lighting in areas exposed to moisture, temperature extremes, and harsh conditions. Available in Black (SKU 97127, EMG-WLEX-BK-RG) and White (SKU 97126, EMG-WLEX-WH-RG) housing finishes, it integrates seamlessly into a wide range of commercial and industrial installations.

Versatility is built into every aspect of the EMG-WLEX. The field-selectable red or green legend, field-selectable single or double face configuration, and snap-in/out chevron indicators allow installers to tailor the sign to specific code requirements on-site — no special tools required. Universal ceiling, end, and wall mounting with an included canopy and a universal J-box mounting pattern on the back plate make placement straightforward in virtually any application.

Electrical performance is equally robust. The EMG-WLEX accepts 120 or 277 VAC input at 60 Hz and draws just 2.2 watts, while its maintenance-free LiFePO4 battery provides over 90 minutes of emergency discharge with a recharge time of less than 24 hours. Self-testing and self-diagnostic functionality with a battery charging indicator reduces inspection labor, and 1.5 watts of remote capacity at 6 VDC supports additional remote heads where required. The LED light source carries a rated life expectancy of 100,000+ hours, minimizing long-term maintenance costs.

The EMG-WLEX meets the full spectrum of applicable standards, including UL 924, NFPA 70, NFPA 101, and CEC Title 20 compliance, making it suitable for projects across most U.S. jurisdictions. Fully illuminated 6" characters with a 3/4" stroke ensure high visibility, and the unit operates across a wide temperature range of -20°C to 50°C. Backed by a 5-year warranty and measuring 13" L × 2½" W × 8⅞" H, the EMG-WLEX is a dependable, specification-grade solution for wet-location exit sign requirements.
