Metal halide light bulbs are a member of the High Intensity Discharge (HID) family of lighting products. Metal Halide light bulbs are among the most energy efficient sources of white light available today. These 70 watt metal halide light bulbs feature special chemical compounds known as Halides that produce light in most regions of the spectrum.

Satco's MH70/ED28/U/4K (S5830) Metal Halide light bulbs offer high efficacy. They have excellent color rendition, long service life and good lumen maintenance. Because of their numerous advantages, metal halide HID light bulbs are used extensively in outdoor applications and in commercial interiors.

Satco HYGrade MH700/ED28/U/4K 70W Metal Halide, Universal Burn Lamps are intended primarily for use in enclosed luminaires. These Pulse Start HID bulbs come with a 4200K cool white color temp, Initial Lumens 5,600 and Rated Average Life 15,000 Hours when burned in the Universal (U) position, ANSI Type M98/E. These Satco High Intensity Discharge Metal Halide HID light bulbs employ a EX39 Mogul base and are designed with an ED28 bulb. Satco metal halide lamps carry a Limited Warranty. This bulb is a possible replacement for Venture MH 70W/U/ED28/PS (16017).
