The MaxLite CN-RTPSW Rectangular PIR Motion Sensor and Photocell, order code 105890, adds motion sensing and daylight-responsive control to compatible MaxLite controls-ready fixtures. Its plug-and-play USB-C connection makes field installation simple, while the included 12mm locking screw helps resist vandalism and withstand vibration. Combining passive infrared (PIR) motion detection with photoelectric sensing, this compact control node allows lighting to respond to occupancy and available daylight.
Featuring 0–10V dimming with dim-to-off capability, the CN-RTPSW supports bi-level dimming, continuous-adjustment daylight harvesting, and high-trim settings of 50%, 75%, or 100%. Settings can be programmed, saved, and stored using the MaxLite CN-REMOTE infrared remote, helping reduce commissioning time across multiple fixtures. At least one CN-REMOTE, order code 105567, is required per project for commissioning and is sold separately. The sensor requires a direct line of sight for motion detection.
The CN-RTPSW operates on 12–20VDC and is designed for mounting heights of 8–15 feet. Measuring 2.28 inches long by 0.81 inches wide by 0.80 inches high, it provides a compact control solution with an operating temperature range of -30°F to 130°F and a humidity rating of 0–85% RH, non-condensing. The sensor is cULus listed for damp locations, California Title 20 compliant, and FCC Part 15 Subpart B Class A compliant, and is backed by a five-year warranty.
