Metal halide bulbs, part of the HID family, are highly efficient in producing white light. By utilizing Halides, they emit light across the entire spectrum. Halco's ProLume MP175/U/MED (108282) bulbs have a long lifespan, excellent color presentation, high efficacy, and maintain good lumen levels. These qualities make metal halide HID bulbs popular for both outdoor and commercial interior lighting.

The Halco ProLume MP175/U/MED 175 Watt M57/O Metal Halide Bulb is suitable for use in both open and enclosed luminaires. It features a quartz glass shroud for added UV protection and is not affected by ambient temperature, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. With an initial lumens of 14,000 and a rated average life of 10,000 hours in any Universal (U) position, this Protected Probe Start HID clear bulb has a cool white color temperature of 4000K. This Halco High Intensity Discharge Metal Halide HID bulb has an E26 Medium base and is designed with an ED17 bulb.
