This is the P&S NEMA L16-20 Twist Lock Connector (also called out as L16-20C), part number L1620C (UPC 785007162011). This 20A 3 Phase 480VAC twist lock connector offers back and side wiring terminals that accept #18 thru #8 AWG solid or stranded conductors. The double dovetail design provides superior protection against cord pull-out forces. The integral flexible rubber cord grommet conforms to and seals around the SO cord to provide protection from oils, water or chips entering the wiring chamber. The NEMA configuration and device rating are imprinted into the face of the wiring device for easy identification.
P&S has incorporated industrial strength brass-alloy connector contacts that provide excellent conductivity and resist heat rise. Captive combination Slot/Phillips assembly screws help to make installation easy. Third party compliance includes UL Listed, File number E146159, Standard UL498, Federal Specification WC596, CSA Certified, File Number LR1765, conforms to NEMA WD-1 and flammability tested to UL94 V2.
