The WSX Series from Sensor Switch of wall switch occupancy sensors provides simple and cost effective solutions for commercial and residential lighting control applications. These sensors have a stylish low profile appearance, soft-click buttons, and provide small motion detection up to 20 feet, making them perfect for private offices, private rest rooms, closets, copy rooms, or any other small enclosed space. All WSX sensors have a wiring method that enables them to function either with or without a neutral connection. These do come pre-configured for wiring without a neutral, however if connection to neutral is required by your building code, contractors can convert the unit in seconds. A user programmable time delay ensures that once the room is vacated the sensor will time out and turn off the lights. Additionally, the WSX sensor has a built in photocell that is turned off by default but can prevent the lights from turning on if sufficient daylight is present. This is item number, WSX SA WH, a unit of the WSX series in a pristine white color with a vandal resistant lens and operates off of either 120V or 277V. The SA simply means that the vacancy mode is set to default. This operating mode is re-programmable via the push-button on the front of the switch. It mounts directly into a single gang switch box. This motion sensor wall switch is compatible with LEDs, electronic and magnetic ballasts, CFLs, and incandescent. This sensor has 100% passive detection, which means it has no potential for interference with other building systems. The WSX SA WH occupancy sensor has a small motion detection (ex. hand movements) up to 20 feet and large motion (ex. walking) detection greater than 36 feet. The device accommodates powering over ground or neutral connection and has an ultra low current leakage when connected via ground. This sensor fully meets NEC 2011 Section 404.2C neutral requirements while line power and load wires are interchangeable which means it is impossible to wire backwards.
