The SHWC-RGBW is a Smart 2.4GHz WiFi Controller built for GM Lighting RGBW LED tape, supporting both 12V and 24VDC input across a 4-channel, 5-wire configuration. Designed for full RGBW color control, it lets you manage your lighting directly from your smartphone or tablet through the LUXcontrol™ App, with compatibility for both Android™ and iOS®. It also works with Google Assistant™ and Amazon Alexa™ for convenient voice-activated control.
The SHWC-RGBW is specifically designed to work with LEDTask™ RGBW LED tape and pairs with LD-E (non-dimmable) LineDRIVE™ drivers. A 2.4GHz WiFi network is required for operation. Compact and lightweight, it is recommended for indoor use; for outdoor or damp/wet environments, installation within a NEMA enclosure (by others) is required.
Electrically, the controller supports 12V/24VDC input with a maximum load of 60W at 12V and 96W at 24V for Class 2 operation. The housing is a black plastic enclosure rated for an operating temperature range of -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to +50°C). It is FCC compliant and meets IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless standards.
