This item is Acuity - Lithonia Lighting's WF6 LED, the 6 inch Wafer LED is an ultra-thin recessed downlight with a narrow remote driver box for applications with shallow ceiling plenum. The Wafer LED is a comprehensive recessed downlight - the pot light housing is not necessary - making them ideal for confined, hard to reach spaces such as closets, bathrooms, hallways, stairwells and outside soffits and other areas that would be challenging with a traditional recessed downlight housing. The aluminum die cast outer frame has a durable, powder coat paint to prevent rust. Each 6" fixture incorporates integral edge-lit LED's and this down light edge-lit LED technology uses a light guided plate to distribute the light. A polycarbonate lens provides even illumination throughout the space.
The WF6 LED comes loaded with third party certifications - CSA certified to US and Canadian safety standards, ENERGY STAR® certified, Wet location rated and Air Tight certified in accordance with ASTM E283-2004. The WF6 LED operates on 120V input power via the factory provided, UL recognized, high efficient driver inside the steel remote box with four 7/8" knockouts with slots for pry-out (Note: Not suitable for pulling wires). The ambient operating temperature range is -40°F (-40°C) to +104°F (+40°C). Dimming, down to 10%, is made simple through use of in-wall dimmer switches.
The Lithonia WF6 LED is the ultra slim, low profile, 13 watt, 6.7" x 1.1" super thin, round, LED recessed down light with a oil-rubbed bronze trim (a white, brushed nickel or black trim option is also available). The WF6 LED 6 inch LED retrofit generates between an amazing 1,020-1,200 lumens. The LED module maintains at least 70% light output for 36,000 hours.
