MaxLite's Emergency 4 ft. T10 LED Tube is a high-performance LED replacement that delivers bright, energy-saving everyday lighting with built-in battery backup for added safety. Designed for retrofit installation in compatible fixtures, it features a UL 924-compliant Twist-toLock Installation for added security. It provides an all-in-one solution for general lighting and emergency operation, with selectable wattage and CCT to set light output and color for different spaces while providing smooth, even illumination. During normal operation, the internal battery remains charged and ready, and upon loss of normal power the tube transitions to emergency mode and provides a minimum of 90 minutes of illumination to support safe egress and continuity in critical areas.
The tube operates on a G13 base with selectable input wattage of 12, 14, or 16 Watt (16W default), dropping to 3.5 Watt in emergency mode. Light output ranges from 1,650 to 2,200 lumens in normal operation and 500 lumens in emergency mode, with a nominal efficacy of 135–137 lm/W — equivalent to a 32 Watt fluorescent. Color temperature is field-selectable at 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, or 6500K (4000K default), with a CRI of 80. The tube is rated for 50,000 hours at L70 lumen maintenance.
Dimming is supported via trailing-edge (ELV) technology with a range of 20–100%. Input voltage is 120–277V, beam angle is 140°, and surge protection is rated at 0.5 kV. Operating temperature ranges from -4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C) in normal mode and 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C) in emergency mode. The tube uses double-ended wiring and measures 47.01" L × 1.35" D × 1.31" D (47.67" with pins).
Its simple ballast-bypass design (Type B) makes installation straightforward, and it is suitable for damp locations. Available as MaxLite order code 114358, part # L12T10DE-EM-WCS.
